A handmade ceramic mala. Born from the belief that beauty and purpose need not be separate. Worn as jewellery. Held as a practice. Felt as something more.
Stone malas are heavy. These aren’t. They settle against the skin the way a weighted blanket settles across the body — warm, present, almost becoming part of you.
Asteria is intentionally multi-sensory, designed to engage touch, scent, weight, texture, and visual calm. One unglazed aromatherapy bead may hold an essential oil or fragrance of your choosing.
“Sensory experience influences how we regulate, settle, and return to presence.”

A warm porcelain white. The lightest colourway in the collection — luminous and minimal on the skin.
Visible knotting shows thread between each bead. Not visible is a cleaner, more modern finish.
One unglazed bead holds an essential oil of your choosing. Releases slowly with the warmth of your skin.
Light enough to forget you’re wearing it. Present enough to feel. Put it on in the morning and let it become part of how you move through the day.
During meditation, breathwork, or a quiet moment — let the bead sequence ground your attention. Each bead, one breath. The traditional count of 108.
Add a few drops of essential oil to the unglazed aromatherapy bead. It absorbs into the clay and releases slowly with the warmth of your skin.
Come back to yourself. Touch it when you need to. A quiet, grounding presence that travels with you wherever you go.
Each bead individually formed and finished by hand. The natural pigmentation of Barbadian clay subtly influences each glaze — creating tonal variation unique to every piece, impossible to replicate mechanically.
Rather than uniformity, each piece is defined by variation — small shifts in surface and tone that reflect both hand and material.
Each mala assembled by hand as a continuous strand — individually knotted for durability and traditional craft.
